WS FTP Configuration Instructions for Personal Webpage Uploading to Sky Web
1. Enter the title
you would like to name your ftp connection under "Profile Name"
2. In the "Host/Name Address" area type ftp.skyweb.net
.
3. In the "Host Type" drop down list please select Automatic
Detect.
4. In the "User ID" field please enter your Sky Web
username in all lower case letters
(note: do not put @skyweb.net after your username)
5. In the "Password" field please put your password
in and check off save password the the right of this field.
6. Click "OK" to connect to Sky Web's web server.
7. On the left side of this
pictures is your computer directory listing and it is called the "Local
Host".
8. On the right side is the Sky Web server and it is called the "Remote
System".
9. You will need to enter the webpages directory that you see on the right
by double-left clicking on the directory.
10. Any pages you want to see on your site will need to be uploaded to this
directory.
11. To upload pages you will to find them on the "Local System",
click on them to highlight them and then click
the right arrow button in the middle of WS FTP and the page will now be on Sky
Web's server.
12. Your personal page url is www.skyweb.net/~yourusername.
