How to configure Netscape Messenger 4.5 or any higher versions

1. Click on Edit and choose Preferences.

2. Double Click on Mail & Newsgroups, you will now see a list below.

3. Then click on Identity and type in whatever you would like in the Your Name field.
Note: this can be whatever you prefer to have next to your email when sending a message.
4. Then type in your email address in the Email address field, ie... username@skyweb.net.

5. Then click on Mail Servers in the prefrences list on the left.
6. Type pluto.skyweb.net in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server: field and also type your username in the
Outgoing mail server username: field.
7. Then click on the Add button in the upper right hand side on the preferences box.

8. Type pluto.skyweb.net in the Server Name: field and choose POP3 Server in the list under Server Type:.
9. Put your username in the User Name: field and then click OK.

10. Click OK on the Preferences dialogue box and then you are ready to use Netscape Messenger.
11. Just open Netscape Messenger and Click on Get Messages and you will start receiving your mail.
